City of Springfield Public Works will pick up natural fir and evergreen Christmas trees from curb sides before 7am on Monday, January 7. After this date, residents should contact their waste haulers for disposal.
Trees cannot have any flocking, ornaments, tinsel, decorations or wooden tree stands nailed to the bottom of the trees. Also, garland and wreaths with wire will not be accepted. Flocked Christmas trees cannot be recycled, but instead should be placed with your garbage for your waste hauler to remove.
