I have lived and worked in Springfield since 1997. I am married to Mark Butler, an elementary teacher with District 186. Our five children are all graduates of Springfield High School.
As Ward 8 Alderwoman, I bring my experience in government to make sure that core city services are provided to all Ward 8 residents: well-maintained streets & sewers, clean walkable sidewalks, and safe neighborhoods. I am also working to ensure that our city government is fiscally responsible and that municipal services remain safe, efficient, and reliable.
